Job description

Job Title: Apprentice Commis Chef

Salary: £28,918.80 per year

Location: Church Road, Wimbledon, SW19 5AE

Reporting to: Head Chef

Hours/working pattern: 40 Hours per week, 7-day operation, day and evening shifts including some weekends.

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Apprentice Commis Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Levy on a full-time basis contracted to 40 Hours per week.

As an Apprentice Commis Chef, you will work in a passionate team to create outstanding culinary experiences for our customers. Due to contractual requirements, candidates must be aged 18+.

No experience is necessary to apply, as full training will be provided as part of the Apprenticeship!

Upon completing the Apprenticeship, you will earn the Commis Chef Level 2 qualification and become a qualified Chef.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Learn all aspects of the kitchen alongside your studies.
2. Complete dishes according to specifications, flavor profiles, and descriptions created by the senior chef team.
3. Work with ingredients based on seasonality, sustainability, and local sourcing.
4. Maintain high standards including food safety and staff behavior.
5. Support kitchen responsibilities individually and as part of a team to achieve standards.
