Overview

The Hackensack, New Jersey office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking a Litigation Associate with a minimum of 4 years of Labor & Employment experience. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

KD's Labor and Employment practice includes employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wage and hour defense, as well as traditional labor law matters.

Qualifications
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Member of the NJ Bar (required) and NY Bar (preferred).
  • Experience handling employment litigation in federal and state court.
  • Experience developing strategy, drafting pleadings, taking/defending depositions, arguing motions and the capability of working independently.
  • Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodations, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial.
  • Must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
