Job Reports To: Associate Director, Finance
Key Activities
Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance and operationally to the Director, Development Operations of the National Arts Centre Foundation the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial operations management, audit management, budgeting and forecasting, process design and internal controls, supporting fundraising activities, and business intelligence. This role supports and assists the CFO/Treasurer of the Foundation, the Associate Director of Finance and National Arts Centre Foundation management in the financial and business management of the Foundation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Skill Requirements
• University degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Commerce;
• Completed or in the process of completing a professional accounting designation;
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in full cycle accounting. financial analysis, and budgeting at the corporate level;
• Proficient with accounting systems including Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software;
• Advanced analytical skills and keen attention to details;
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills;
• Results-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently;
• Strong organizational and time-management skills;
• Team player and able to report and communication with all levels of the organization;
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlines;
• Bilingualism is preferred.
