Duties
These exciting positions will play a key role in helping Jasper rebuild following the impacts of the 2024 Jasper Wildfire Complex. The successful candidate will be working with park staff, stakeholders, and colleagues from other levels of government to work on land use policy and process improvements to support Jasper’s recovery. The position will also support development review within and outside of the Jasper townsite.
Work environment
Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada’s outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas, and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.
Intent of the process
This process will be used to fill one 2-year term position. Remote work will be considered. Housing will not be provided. This process may be used to create a list of qualified candidates to staff similar positions with various tenures, security levels, or linguistic requirements in the same or other parts of the country.
