Job Description: Warehouse Associate at Carter's Inc.

This role reports to the Assistant Operations Manager and is based in our Canada Distribution Center in an on-site environment.

Key Responsibilities:
60%: DC Operation and Execution
  • Maintain housekeeping, safety, and warehouse compliance
  • Accurately pick, pack, and label orders with correct shipping and content labels
  • Manage inventory, including cleanup and replenishment
  • Ensure quality and quantity standards in outbound cartons
  • Cross-train on machinery such as forklifts, end riders, order pickers, walkie riders, wave riders, and aisle masters
  • Use Radio Frequency (RF) scanners
  • Maintain performance standards and follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Adhere to safety rules and procedures
  • Support Carter’s culture and values among team members
  • Perform other assigned tasks
40%: Essential Job Functions
  • Maintain department housekeeping and health & safety standards
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Completion of powered materials handling equipment training with demonstrated safe practices
  • Ability to operate mechanized equipment as needed
  • Attention to detail and focus in a high-activity environment
  • Strong teamwork skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in distribution or manufacturing
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with RF scanners and WMOS
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
Physical and Work Demands:
  • Repetitively lift cases weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Work in a multi-shift environment, with flexibility for extended hours
  • Stand and perform physical tasks for long periods, including walking, stooping, climbing, and lifting
  • Work in varying temperatures
  • Shift hours vary based on business needs
