RunReady, the running health brand, is advancing the sport through research, innovation, and education. Led by Physiotherapists, it studies the human body and running footwear to help people run healthier and perform better.
RunReady is part of a company that includes RunAsYouAre, a Vancouver-based specialty shop offering top footwear, apparel, and accessories. Since 2013, RunAsYouAre has supported the local running community through weekly runs and events.
RunReady has launched the RunReady Performance Program, a new running health service available exclusively at the RunAsYouAre West 4th Avenue shop.
THE ROLE
As the RunReady Experience Coordinator, you’ll own the entire client experience for RunReady’s services, offered exclusively at the RunAsYouAre West 4th Avenue shop. From booking appointments to creating an exceptional in-studio experience, you’ll guide clients through each step, working closely with the RunReady President to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming environment.
Your role includes managing client experiences, supporting sales, and handling studio administration to keep everything running efficiently. You’ll build strong relationships with clients, community partners, and local runners to drive bookings and service sales.
You’ll also collaborate with teams across Marketing, Brand, Operations, and Community to support the RunReady Performance Program and expand its reach through special programs and events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
RunReady Studio Guest Experience | 40%
- Act as the first point of contact and host for guests coming in for RunReady service appointments. Creating a welcoming, attractive and health centred guest experience.
- Check in guests for appointments, orient them to the studio space, and ensure they feel comfortable and supported.
- Provide studio tours for new guests to familiarize them with the studio's offerings.
- Maintain the studio’s appearance, including ongoing housekeeping, supply management, and towel service.
- Address guest questions and concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their experience.
- Convert walk-ins and inquiries into booked appointments by effectively communicating the benefits of RunReady Performance Program services.
- Drive future client bookings through relationship building and follow up with first-time guests to encourage rebooking and ongoing service use.
- Support therapists by discussing and promoting follow through on the plan of care developed through the RunReady Performance Program.
- Collaborate with retail staff to cross-promote studio services with in-store products.
- Manage all scheduling, including new appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations, ensuring the calendar runs efficiently.
- Handle client billing and process insurance claims as required.
- Respond to client inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and studio operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols in the studio space.
- Participate in team meetings to provide feedback on studio operations and promotions and suggest improvements.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing or sales roles, ideally in health, fitness, or retail settings
- Sales experience or a natural inclination toward promoting services
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on administrative tasks
- Ability to meet the scheduling requirements of this position - 16-24 hours / week in person at our store studio, working Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday, with some occasional evening events
- Familiarity with physiotherapy, fitness services, or health-related industries is an asset
