About the role

We’re seeking a Manager of Operational Excellence and Projects to join our process improvement team.

Working with the Director of Business Intelligence and Operational Excellence, you will support and develop the team of operational excellence and project management specialists. You will also manage a portfolio of high-visibility projects that significantly impact our strategic objectives.

You will play a key role in implementing initiatives and enhancing processes in direct distribution, collaborating with various business units. Additionally, you will support our team of specialists on national projects, helping our partners achieve their goals and deliver successful outcomes. You will have the opportunity to present your work to the management team and participate in budget planning.

What you’ll do here :
  • Manage a portfolio of business projects aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Participate in key projects with your team’s experts.
  • Promote and apply best practices in project management, change management, and operational efficiency.
  • Inspire and effectively lead a team of professionals.
  • Support skill development within the team.
  • Drive team excellence to maintain high levels of commitment.
  • Collaborate with management and business partners.
What you bring to the table :
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Seven years of experience managing operational excellence projects.
  • Five years of experience managing and coaching professionals.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • PMP certification is an asset.
  • Experience in establishing and managing a project office is an asset.
  • Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A strong interest in operational efficiency and project management.
  • Desire to face challenges proactively.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to draw conclusions and apply them effectively.
  • Ability to translate vision into action.
