We are seeking an e-CAD Librarian to develop and maintain comprehensive CAD libraries, including schematic symbols, layout footprints, and metadata. You will be part of our talented technical team and play a key role in maintaining efficiency and accuracy in our CAD libraries.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create library parts, schematic symbols, and layout footprints as needed for design projects.
  2. Maintain CAD parts libraries, including schematic symbols, physical footprints, and part metadata.
  3. Manage part obsolescence and EOL in libraries and project builds.
  4. Establish and maintain electrical and mechanical parts bill of materials within Arena PLM.
  5. Review and ensure all parts conform to IPC, manufacturer, and company standards.
  6. Assist with component selection, screening, qualification, and derating.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of five years of experience with Cadence CIS and Allegro PCB design or as a PCB librarian.
  2. Experience with Altium, Mentor Xpedition, or PADS and related assets.
  3. Working knowledge of IPC Specifications and PCB technologies.
  4. Experience with component database management tools.
  5. Good understanding of high-speed PCB design for embedded systems.
  6. Ability to read schematics and a working knowledge of electronics principles and basic circuit operation.
  7. Experience with electrical design, including component/part selection.
  8. Ability to read and understand part specifications, package information, and mechanical drawings.
  9. Experience with library management, design release processes, product lifecycle management practices, and Arena PLM.
