Job description

The Marketing Writer (English) researches, writes and edits content to clearly communicate the business strategies for client websites and digital marketing initiatives. Strong, proven technical and creative writing skills are requisite.

This role is critical to the successful building of websites and you will work closely with the Project Management and Production teams. Clarity and accuracy of communication is critical, along with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Experience with website content management systems is mandatory and understanding of SEO strategies is highly valued. Experience with email marketing is a definite plus, and experience with the primary social media platforms is also helpful.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write and edit English website content and blogs
• Schedule management for assigned blogging calendar
• Writing for other digital initiatives (eg. Email Marketing Campaigns, Social Media)
• Collaborate with the Content Team on evolving SEO strategies and best practices guidelines
• Style on-page content (eg. layout / images / calls-to-action, etc.) to work with the website design template and strategic goals of each page
• Provide prompt and effective verbal and written communication with internal collaborators throughout the project cycle
• Ensure on-time delivery of project tasks
• Within established internal systems, maintain excellent project files
