Information Technology Support Specialist - Tier 1

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 10 : 30 AM – 6 : 30 PM PST

About the role :

The Tier 1 IT Support role involves supporting day-to-day operational IT issues across the business.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical support to internal stakeholders, ensuring the smooth operation of computers, network devices, and printers.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and issues.
  • Manage support tickets and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Applications and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Resolve complaints and issues, liaising with stakeholders for effective solutions.
  • Build relationships with departments, vendors, and suppliers for effective communication.
  • Maintain an IT asset register and manage hardware / software inventory.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on projects and provide on-call support as needed.

Job Requirements :

  • Minimum of 1 year of technical customer service experience (preferred).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with IT support ticketing systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills related to computers and web-based issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent multitasking and workload prioritization skills.
