Senior Recruitment Partner - Broader Public Sector & Healthcare

We are working with a leading public sector organization to hire an experienced Contract Specialist for a 1-year contract. This role will support a major infrastructure enhancement initiative, providing contract administration expertise across construction, design, engineering, and professional services agreements.

You will play a critical role in managing high-value contracts, supporting payment processes, administering contract changes, and collaborating with stakeholders. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in construction or infrastructure to grow their expertise on a significant project.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Administer large, complex contracts related to infrastructure construction and professional services.
  • Manage payments, change orders, and monitor budgets.
  • Draft, review, and maintain contract documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements and policies.
  • Conduct expenditure analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for contract management.
  • Apply knowledge of contract law, procurement, and Progressive Design-Build contracts.
  • Support financial tracking, reporting, and contract close-out activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or large engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contract administration, and payment processes.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with procurement and materials management systems is a plus.

Education

  • Background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related fields.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Professional certifications like MRICS or PQS are advantageous.
