An established educational institution is seeking a dedicated Elementary Teacher for a long-term occasional position. This role focuses on Special Education and involves working in various capacities, including SERT, Library, and Prep. Note: The current end date for this position is June 27, 2025. This may end earlier, and the successful candidate will be notified in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
Applicants must be members in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and have obtained their Special Education Part 1, primary, junior qualifications.
Applicants with the specified qualifications will be prioritized. If no qualified applicants are available after the second posting, candidates with partial qualifications may be considered.

In accordance with the Collective Agreement, long-term assignments will be filled without an in-person interview, based on the five most senior qualified available applicants, provided there are no redundant or supernumerary teachers eligible for the position.
