News Reporter

1. This position requires a related undergraduate degree, preferably in journalism. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted.
2. Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving news environment.
3. Strong news writing abilities - traditional news reporting and feature writing.
4. Strong knowledge of CP style.
5. Familiarity with the Montreal Jewish community.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
7. Ability to work independently and remotely.
8. A self-starter who is able to generate quality story ideas.
9. This is an English-language position, but ability to speak French is an asset.
