Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Director/Designate and in collaboration with the site, Regional Program Team, and Education Manager/Director, the incumbent is responsible for:

  1. Identifying priority learning needs and implementing strategies for clinical staff.
  2. Modeling clinical excellence and providing knowledge to enhance patient care.
  3. Developing and implementing learning modules aligned with the clinical program's strategic vision.
  4. Participating in collaborative activities to improve clinical practice and system performance.

Additionally, the role involves participating in central orientation and site-driven educational initiatives as required.

Experience
  • Minimum of four years recent nursing experience with demonstrated competency.
  • Previous clinical education experience, including preceptorship or staff orientation.
Education
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required.
  • Master's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Coursework or certification in adult education is an asset.
Certification/Licensure
  • Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or eligible.
  • Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) certification preferred.
  • CPR certification as per employer policy.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online learning tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous customs and languages is an asset.
  • Problem-solving and adult learning principles.
  • Leadership and change management skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Flexible hours, including evenings, nights, or weekends as needed.
