Our client is a large, publicly traded software company with operations in 36+ countries worldwide and revenue exceeding $13 billion. They specialize in the acquisition of B2B software companies as well as the design, implementation, and support of various B2B software across a wide range of industries.
Currently, we are searching for a Business Development Associate - M&A to help grow target software technology verticals for potential M&A activities.

Salary: $80,000 - 110,000/year + Commission + bonus + vacation + discounted company equity purchase + other company perks

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Development Associate - M&A to source and manage acquisition opportunities from inception to completion. Reporting to the Group Leader, this pivotal role encompasses lead generation, valuation, negotiation, due diligence, and securing investment approvals, contributing to the execution of our global capital deployment strategy.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior management to identify, qualify, and execute acquisitions aligned with strategic goals. This includes nurturing relationships with prospects and intermediaries through various channels.
This role is ideal for individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset, high integrity, exceptional communication and analytical skills who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The position offers the opportunity to take initiative and lead significant responsibilities in a hybrid, full-time capacity, based in Toronto.
The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years of relevant M&A experience, including expertise in financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation, and investment approval, with a background in software companies, private equity, or B2B startups considered an advantage.
