The Digital Product Owner is responsible for evolving how Technical Safety BC manages and utilizes digital products and platforms for clients and safety officers. This role collaborates with customers and represents their voice in scrum teams to deliver client-centric solutions supporting strategic projects. The role involves defining customer and user needs, understanding the digital portfolio, identifying intersections and dependencies, and collaborating internally and externally to deliver impactful experiences.

As a Digital Product Owner, you will :
- Drive business outcomes for multiple digital products, representing client/user interests during development, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with third-party vendors.
- Lead collaborative user research to elicit and document requirements, working closely with technical owners to define non-functional requirements.
- Own and maintain the product backlog with the technical owner, prioritizing epics and user stories with input from stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement activities such as usability testing, user acceptance testing, backlog maintenance, and prioritization.
- Resolve key customer and stakeholder concerns and escalations.
- Ensure completion of post-operation activities and action items.
- Create and implement change management plans, including user documentation, operational resourcing, and support plans.
- Identify, prioritize, and address ongoing backlog to support team development and goals.
- Manage a repository of digital artifacts across the portfolio for visibility and collaboration.
- Collaborate with technology teams to align digital strategies with current and future architecture.
- Represent client/user needs in ongoing portfolio management, setting priorities, resolving blockers, and advising leadership.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in digital product and/or program management with customer-facing applications.
- Proven skills in product management, including managing cross-functional projects.
- Experience managing digital portfolios, including budgeting and resource planning.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to drive results.
- Desire to learn, seek feedback, and improve.
- Quick learner with adaptability to an agile environment.
