Impala Canada is the owner and operator of the Lac des Iles Mine, located 90 minutes northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario. In operation for 30 years, the LDI Mine is one of only two known pure palladium sources in North America. Palladium contributes to a cleaner global environment, with its leading use in catalytic converters that reduce harmful emissions from gas-powered and hybrid vehicles.

Job Description :

Responsible for ensuring all scheduled instrumentation maintenance programs are in effect.

Analyze, inspect and test instruments to diagnose faults.

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, repairing and adjusting systems components and any other assigned tasks.

Qualifications :

Journeyperson Instrument Mechanic with industrial equipment repair experience, a preferred asset.

Knowledge of PLC and / or DCS controls, variable speed drives.

A self-starter who performs duties in a safe and productive manner.

Verbal and written proficiency of the English language.
