We are currently hiring a Senior Associate Manager, Content Head Office in Burnaby.

As a Senior Associate Manager, Content, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead platform-first storytelling across multiple owned channels, including enews and social content. This role is perfect for a strategic and hands-on content leader who excels at creative ideation, brand storytelling and channel expertise. You will bring our brand and product stories to life through engaging, relevant, and high-performing content.

  • Visually savvy with familiarity in design and video tools (Adobe Suite, CapCut a plus)
  • Self-starter with sound judgment and problem-solving skills

What you’ll do:

  • Position BCAA as a trusted, expert voice in BC, reinforcing brand pillars through engaging, multi-channel content.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of each major platform’s storytelling formats, best practices, and algorithmic shifts. Coaching others in crafting content that performs natively.
  • Develop data-driven, thematic content strategies aligned with business goals, seasonal trends, and platform insights.
  • Write compelling scripts, stories and copy that reflect our brand values and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Translate marketing objectives into compelling, audience-specific content across formats.
  • Own and manage a brand-aligned editorial calendar, including the monthly e-newsletter.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in writing and on camera, maintaining BCAA and Evo’s tone and voice.
  • Lead content development and collaboration across internal teams and vendors for consistent storytelling, and oversee content distribution across all relevant channels.
  • Manage and mentor a Content Creator, ensuring trend-responsive, high-quality output.
  • Oversee the Brand Advocacy Framework, guiding brand engagement on timely societal issues.
  • Lead execution and distribution of short- and long-form content across key platforms (e.g., blogs, e-news, TikTok, Reels, LinkedIn).
  • Provide creative direction and ensure platform-specific best practices are met.
  • Monitor performance metrics, optimize strategies, and champion content innovation and experimentation.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
  • 5+ years of marketing and communications experience, with a strong track record in strategy, content creation, execution, and performance analysis
  • Proven leadership in multi-platform content strategy and team management
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills across formats and channels
  • Ability to translate marketing goals into compelling content
  • Confident brand representative in both written and on-camera formats
  • Strong knowledge of SEO/SEM, analytics, and digital publishing tools
  • Organized, execution-focused project manager and collaborative people leader

The salary range for this position is $88,530to $110,662and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
