ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Recruitment Augmentation complimented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.

Job Overview:

Provide solution and business process consulting assistance to sales team members to facilitate closing sales. Identify specific areas of prospect need and demonstrate how Client's services & solutions fill those needs. Reports to the Solutions Consulting Director.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver demonstrations for all client services & solutions.
  2. Prepare to deliver solution demonstrations: meet with prospects to identify their requirements, research their competitive strengths and weaknesses; reconfigure the solution and/or database as appropriate to best address prospect issues; ensure demonstrations are free of complications and maximize the usefulness of solutions.
  3. Strategize with sales team members to identify the most effective approach that will result in the prospect buying services & solutions.
  4. Maintain thorough knowledge of client's competitor's solutions, company direction, financial stability, etc.; keep current with industry events, solution offerings, etc.
  5. Provide advice and guidance to other Solution Consultants as requested.
  6. Regularly report on progress with each prospect via phone conferences, pipeline reports, etc.
  7. Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of all solutions, upgrades, upcoming revisions, functionality, etc.
  8. Provide input on prospect requirements/concerns to Solution Marketing teams as requested.
  9. Assist at trade shows, user conferences, etc. as requested.
  10. Interact with sales, marketing and external customers.
  11. Operate under moderate supervision with reviews of work.
  12. Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.
Education, Experience & Training required:
  1. Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  2. 4+ years experience in a field relating to client's solutions and/or functional financial pre-sales functions (i.e. ERP financials).
  3. Broad business knowledge: ability to interpret and utilize industry information on competitors.
  4. Demonstrated experience in making formal presentations including ability to quickly redesign presentations and databases.
  5. Previous accounting experience preferred.
  6. Must be fluent in English and French.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Ability to pass a background check.

  2. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies to select methods for obtaining solutions.

  6. Travels up to 20% of time.
