National Account Manager – Walmart US & Canada, Consumer Business Group (Rogers, AR)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Located in Rogers, AR, this National Account Manager role will provide the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will lead the sales and promotional efforts at Walmart US & Canada for the Consumer Business Group. Key responsibilities will include supporting the Air Filtration and Safety product categories within Walmart’s Omnichannel business. Here, you will make an impact by :

  1. Attaining the sales forecasts aligned with the business.
  2. Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts to management.
  3. Developing annual business plans to achieve goals to drive core growth, new product distribution, and promotional programs.
  4. Developing account relationships across Merchandising, Replenishment, Marketing, and Store Operations.
  5. Leading Cross Functional Internal Teams (Business Analysis, Customer Service, Inventory Planners, Shopper Marketers, CDMs, and Marketing) on key initiatives for assigned accounts.
  6. Participating in cross-functional product development to aid in defining future growth opportunities within the assigned account.
  7. Preparing and delivering account presentations utilizing Sales and Marketing data, as well as syndicated data.
  8. Providing accurate and timely information on competitive activity and retail conditions to Sales management.
  9. Managing budgets within guidelines.
Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified before start) from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) combined years of customer-facing experience in Sales / Account Management, Marketing, and/or Analytics within a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Current, valid driver's license.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :

  • Experience and in-depth understanding of major consumer product retailers.
  • Advanced analytical experience and managing category growth with story-telling.
  • Experience supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience with seasonal retail programs, in-store and online.
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Salesforce.com).
Work Location & Travel

Location: Rogers, AR. Onsite and hybrid options available.

Travel: May include up to 20% Domestic / International travel.
