About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer to join the SaaS Platform development team. You will collaborate with different teams to create technical solutions in production, ensuring high-quality architecture and design.

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop secure, scalable technical solutions using Zendesk and related technologies.
• Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development.
• Implement critical interfaces and complex modules of the systems.
• Develop integration between Zendesk and other systems in customer support business.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement solutions using Zendesk.
• Monitor performance of integrations and workflows.
• Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Good Database Management skills and understanding of data models.
• Experience in integrating applications using middleware tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Wants to win as a Team!
• Knows their stuff! We want developers with 5+ experience in various stacks.
• CRM Experience: Zendesk or Salesforce application development.
• Backend, Infrastructure: Golang, Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.
• Fullstack, Backend: GraphQL, Rest, No SQL databases.
• Mobile Infrastructure: Swift or Kotlin.
• AI: Building AI-related integrations.
• Is customer obsessed!

The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$93,925 — $121,550 CAD
