Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the VP of Global Marketing & Communications will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the global marketing function. This individual will be responsible for developing and aligning cross-functional international and country teams with strategic business objectives.
The Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications will oversee the development and execution of marketing initiatives for Medisca. This role requires a creative, strategic thinker with a strong collaborative approach to ensure successful alignment and execution of marketing objectives. A key focus will be leading the creation and implementation of digital strategies and eCommerce efforts.
The Opportunity:
- Craft and execute a strategic roadmap of the upcoming year’s marketing, digital marketing and ecommerce initiatives to address relevant business opportunities.
- Develop and implement global marketing and communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Ability to think “out-of-the-box” and introduce new, compelling and innovative initiatives and programs to improve ROI. Stay abreast of industry and new marketing trends and regulations.
- Champion brand development, press releases, client communications, market research, digital marketing, ecommerce, web direction and social media.
- Conduct competitive analysis and have a close pulse on consumer trends, leading to the development of new marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the timely and accurate execution of resources, scheduling, creative themes and social media strategies.
- Track and measure program results; report these findings to Marketing and executives.
- Lead partnership with external parties; ensure communications are consistent with brand guidelines.
- Strong sense of leadership to guide and empower marketing team members to perform at their best and hit the next level. Set clear targets and KPIs for each team member and department.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of teamwork and secure alignment on marketing initiatives. Work cross-functionally with departments such as Product Development, Sales and Business Development, IT, and People & Culture to identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities
- Collaborate with Medisca’s global team to ensure marketing strategies resonate and are effectively executed in global markets.
- Provide direction on customer engagement through furthering the development of the company CRM
- Research and implement new technology (internal and customer facing) to grow customer experience, engagement and increase sales
- Focus on brand and identity development across multiple brands and industries and execute plans with channel Managers and Product Managers
- Manage the budget for the marketing department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, MBA or other master’s degree is a strong asset
- 10+ years of experience in sales or marketing, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel), CRM required
- Knowledge of a project management tool
- Strong understanding of the compounding industry

- Thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates resilience under pressure
- Driven, motivated and entrepreneurial mindset is a must
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and process optimization skills
- Excellent communication skills; fluent French and English (oral & written) required. This position will oversee and collaborate with cross-functional international and country teams for strategic business objectives.
