Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses: Food handler certification or willingness to complete it within 3 months from starting date of the employment

Work experience: 2 years’ experience with south Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual south Indian dishes.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Overseeing kitchen operations, including inspecting kitchens and food service areas.
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
  • Order supplies and equipment.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
