The location in Port Alberni , British Columbia , Canada , is seeking talent to fill the position of Maintenance Supervisor . This job is full-time permanent .
The Maintenance Supervisor is a member of a crew responsible for maximizing long term equipment availability within the cost constraints imposed. The crew must also have a goal of minimizing the number of Safety incidents and the number of environmental excursions beyond accepted limits.
The key responsibilities of the maintenance crew supervisor are to: motivate the craft personnel, determine craft/skill/crew for the job, coordinate and follow-up the job, perform safety and quality monitoring of the job, recommend improvements and cost reductions, identify the causes of failures for breakdowns and repetitive repairs, and recommend skill levels and training courses for apprentices and journeymen.
Salary $100,000 - $115,000 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
