We are looking for a dedicated person to fill the role of John Deere Turf & Compact Construction Equipment Sales Rep at our Halifax, NS location.

Purpose :

Promote new and used John Deere Turf and Compact Construction Equipment, as well as service offerings including maintenance packages, annual inspections, etc. available through Green Diamond.

Responsibilities :

  • Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area / store
  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of all customer events including Aftermarket events
  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
  • Attends applicable sales training events / seminars
  • Maintains exceptional customer service
  • Works to achieve Annual Sales Goals
  • Promotes service contracts to new and existing customers
  • Manage rental fleet and ensure all paperwork is in order and submitted in a timely manner

Requirements :

  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Valid and clean driver’s license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, Accurate, Articulate
  • Well developed organization and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
