We are currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Sales and Marketing Assistant.

What You Will Work On

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the successful applicant will facilitate the implementation of comprehensive marketing and sales programs to achieve and maintain occupancy targets for the Shepherd Terrace, Gardens, and Manor properties, including but not limited to customer relationship management, conducting tours, leasing, tenant services administration, and related activities

How You’ll Create Impact

  • Assist in achieving and maintaining full occupancy of the Shepherd Village facilities.
  • Welcome / onboard new residents and family members to Shepherd Village, providing support and assistance to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all customer relationship management interactions responding promptly to inquiries from potential residents and their families.
  • Conducting tours of the community for prospective residents and their families.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations highlighting community features and benefits.
  • Prepare and review leasing agreements for signature with prospective residents / tenants.
  • Support the completion of necessary documentation for resident admissions.
  • Assist new residents during the Move-In process and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Follow up with new residents to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Assist with promoting Shepherd Village properties.
  • Manage the Customer Relationship Management system; maintain an accurate database of leads and prospects.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from potential residents and their families.
  • Preparing weekly marketing updates for management.

What Are Your Skills And Experience

  • Previous work experience providing care and support to seniors or with an organization focused on supporting seniors / providing senior care.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets and charts.
  • Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management software is an asset.
  • Experience in senior living is a definite asset.
  • MUST be qualified to work in Canada legally for the employer.
  • Previous experience working in a seniors’ care environment preferred.
