Our client is seeking a Store Manager to provide support for their busy kiosk located in NE, Calgary.

The Store Manager will play a key role in supporting and motivating the sales staff, fostering a performance-driven culture to increase store sales. This individual should demonstrate strong communication and mentoring abilities, maintaining a confident and positive approach in both fast-paced and quieter retail environments.

The ideal candidate will be administratively strong, have experience in full-cycle retail management, possessing the ability to schedule, onboard, offboard, manage targets, and KPIs, as well as building, leading and mentoring a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and train sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Set and develop sales targets and goals to drive team success.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to implement strategies that increase sales and achieve targets.
  • Liaise with senior management regarding store performance, budgeting, and key business metrics.
  • Lead training and onboarding for new staff to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with company standards.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, build strong relationships, and provide exceptional service.
  • Promote and upsell products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Communicate promotions and special offers effectively to customers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Class 5 driving licence and reliable vehicle are required.

Experience:

  • Previous retail experience is required.
  • Previous retail management is considered a strong asset.

Base Salary: $60,000 – $65,000

  • Salary based on experience.
  • Full benefits package included.

Work Hours:

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Must have flexibility to work between 9am – 9pm.
  • Must be available to work weekdays and weekends.

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

Additional Notes:

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
