Job Summary
The Metal Enclosed Switchgear (MES) Department of S&C Electric Canada is in search of an Electrical Engineering Student. The successful candidate will be working with Engineering Team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in MV Switchgear design and Protection & Control system design etc.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site 3 days per week)
Shift: Office Hours (Mon - Fri)
Office Location: 90 Belfield Rd., Etobicoke, ON


Job Responsibilities

• Upgrade and maintain process software used for MES design and production control, which is developed with Visual Basics
• Assist the engineering team in preparing drawings and wiring diagrams as needed

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Electrical Engineering degree program
• Available and eligible to work a 4 month co-op work term (Fall 2025)
• Self-starter with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Fast-learner with an aptitude for learning other company-specific software
• Proficient with Microsoft software, specifically Excel, Word and MS Project
• Programming Skill with Visual Basics or C++ required
• Knowledge of other software languages would be an asset
