As the main distributor of EZ Dock products from Ontario to Newfoundland, we are committed to enhancing waterfront experiences with durable, customizable, and low-maintenance dock systems.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team in Kenora, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth within the marine solutions sector. This role requires a deep understanding of our product offerings and the ability to tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. Furthermore, quality service delivery is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the residential, commercial, industrial, and government sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific waterfront needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential areas for growth.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the marine or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of dock systems and waterfront solutions is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for being on the water.
  • Experience managing or coaching water-based activities (Sailing, power sports) is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
