Job description

As a driver at Beacon, you will travel locally to deliver construction materials to our customers, while adhering to and understanding safety policies and regulations.

A clean driving record and customer service skills are essential! We encourage experienced, safety-conscious, and customer-focused drivers to apply.

Position: Boom Truck Driver in Québec City

What can I expect from Beacon?

  • Hiring bonus of $1,500 ($750 after 3 months of continuous service and $750 after 12 months)

What will my day-to-day look like?

  • Perform pre-departure checks
  • Deliver materials safely
  • Keep registers up to date

  • Maintain the goods, trailer, and truck in good condition and clean
  • Assist in order preparation
  • Perform other related tasks

What are the requirements?

  • Secondary 5 education
  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license
  • Good driving record
  • Reliability, availability, courtesy, and politeness
  • Customer service and safety-oriented mindset
  • Experience driving a boom truck (asset)
  • Valid forklift certificate (asset)
