Responsibilities
The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for Information System (IS) deployment and maintenance as well as obtaining and maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) for the IS.
- Additional organizational responsibilities include general IT support for organizational IT assets and equipment.
- These responsibilities will include setup, deployment, maintenance, and auditing of organizational IT assets, software, and equipment.
- In addition to organizational responsibilities, the Cyber Security Engineer will also need to be capable of supporting Project Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance functions that include preparation of RMF documentation, performing system updates, DISA STIG implementation, and performing vulnerability scans/assessments of delivered equipment.
- Some travel will be required.
Required Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) CertificationSecurity+ Certification
Knowledge of NISPOM
Experience with Linux & Windows
Knowledge of NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, and CUI handling DoD 5200.48
Previous ISSO/Cybersecurity experience with supporting Classified IS
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
