REMOTE - CANADA / NA

This position, within the Global Controllership team, is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and presenting the company's external filings with the SEC, primarily quarterly and annual reports on Form 10-Q and 10-K. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and aspects of proxy statements.

The Analyst Reporting will also handle monthly and quarterly general ledger close tasks, including calculating and recording equity accounting entries and preparing quarterly equity roll-forwards, working closely with our third-party equity administrator.

What you'll do...

  • Interact frequently with management across various levels and departments to ensure accurate public filings.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to address review and audit questions, ensuring SEC deadlines are met.
  • Apply solid technical accounting research skills to resolve accounting issues, collaborating across departments for guidance implementation.
  • Support capital markets activities, including preparing registration statements and prospectus supplements, working with auditors and underwriters' counsel.

What you'll need...

  • 1-2 years of SEC reporting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP required.
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion preferred; familiarity with Workiva is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
  • Availability to work on EST hours.
