Reviews all incidents immediately and informs appropriate staff, Program/Regional Directors, and QI.
Assist in the handling of crisis and emergency situations.
Conduct staff and house meetings bi-weekly.
Identify/conduct trainings in conjunction with orientation of new staff and ongoing professional growth/development of staff.
Assist CR Operations Coordinator/Sr. DCC in securing coverage in the event of emergency or illnesses when unable to secure workers and be willing to cover shifts.
Ensure presence or that of designated staff member at all admissions, to review medications (count, administration and Dr.’s orders) upon youth’s arrival at placement.
Provide support to all staff as needed.
Assist in the preparation of menus and meals (cooking when necessary).
Assist in the coordination of all activities of the community residence.
Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the residence.
Perform unannounced checks of weekend and overnight staff program functioning.
Participate in Supervisory on-call schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
AAS (BA Degree preferred) with 3-5 years of experience working with SED population or 5+ years of residential experience & working w/SED population.
NYS Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.
2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
Acceptable background clearance check through State Central Register, Justice Center and compliance with health regulations for physical examination and Mantoux testing; COVID vaccine.
