Visual Presentation Coordinator, contract

What you’ll do

The Visual Presentation Coordinator will assist franchisees in all aspects of visual presentation so that they can optimize their sales and profits.

1. Be responsible for the implementation of all visual merchandising mandates at store level.
2. Contribute to the design of new stores for various banners.
3. Train new and existing employees in all aspects of visual merchandising for retail.
4. Provide input and analysis for visual merchandising mandates under development.
5. Ensure compliance with company merchandising standards.
6. Create reports for each store and communicate them to the local supervisor, banner managers, merchandising coordinator, and Chief Merchandising Officer.
7. Help stores plan seasonal layouts and product transition periods.

What you bring

1. Diploma in visual presentation or design.
2. 3-5 years experience in visual merchandising in the retail industry (apparel and hardgoods).
3. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Working knowledge of C.A.D Software, Photoshop or Corel Draw (an asset).
4. Bilingual (English and French).
5. Excellent teaching and communication skills.
6. Must be willing to travel often.
7. In some cases, the incumbent will have to work long hours and weekends to meet obligations to our franchisees.
8. Ability to work independently without supervision.
