UnityPoint Health seeks a Pharmacist-In-Charge to oversee medication distribution and manage pharmacy operations. The role requires a Bachelor's or Pharm.D. and at least three years of hospital pharmacy experience. This position offers a supportive work environment and a comprehensive benefits package.
Functions as the Pharmacist-In-Charge for the designated Pharmacy Department as defined by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners. Oversees the coordination of all aspects of medication distribution and pharmaceutical care. Performs human resources functions, including hiring, training, corrective action, evaluations, and staff development. Serves a key role in making recommendations for annual goals, objectives, and budget. Fosters a positive work culture by building and maintaining relationships with team members. Will have responsibilities and managerial activity across all UnityPoint Health - Des Moines locations.

Coordinates and participates in developing and maintaining up-to-date policy, procedure, and training materials for the preparation and dispensing of sterile and other drug products.
Bachelor's of Science or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy. Current Iowa Pharmacist License. At least three years of experience as a hospital pharmacist with management experience.
