Our clients include Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking, and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.

Our team focuses on designing, developing, and deploying capabilities that enable the end-to-end delivery of the Enterprise ESG framework. The Sr. Cloud Full Stack Engineer, Climate Data & Strategy, will be responsible for leading the development of applications for large-scale data processing and analysis. You will work with stakeholders to design best-in-class technology solutions.

What will you do?

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytical and operational needs.
  • Contribute to data pipeline architecture, ensuring it follows a micro-service format and is deployable to on-premise and Cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Support the integration of analytics and machine learning models into production systems, focusing on data availability and performance.
  • Optimize database performance and schema design for large datasets.
  • Mentor team members and help resolve design and implementation challenges.
  • Participate hands-on in design and implementation, reviewing and approving project changes.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
  • 8+ years of experience in programming and application development, with at least 1+ year in a team lead role with full project ownership.
  • This is a lead role requiring strong team leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to understand stakeholder needs and project requirements.
  • Expertise in multiple programming languages/frameworks such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, Python, Scala, Hive.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of data governance and security practices.
  • Experience in frontend/backend engineering, test-driven development, microservices, and architecture design principles.
  • Prior experience in the financial industry supporting risk analytics, regulatory frameworks, etc.
