Job description

We’re seeking a Front-End Developer to join our team to design and build elegant, user-friendly web interfaces that enable clients to access financial insights, manage portfolios, and interact with our wealth management platform.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our firm, enabling clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape communities. This is a Software Engineering III position at the Associate level, responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions supporting business needs.

What You’ll Do In The Role

1. Work on highly visible sites, focusing on the frontend of pages developed by Java Developers.
2. Collaborate with product teams and engineering specialists to develop solutions from development to production.
3. Analyze design requirements and coordinate with stakeholders.
4. Develop new features using functional components.
5. Refactor existing classical components into functional components.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

1. 4+ years of JavaScript experience with React.js.
2. Experience in an enterprise environment using React.
3. Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
4. Strong soft skills to fit into our team culture.
5. Motivated self-starter and team player.
6. Creative, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects.
7. Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
8. Experience with RESTful APIs.
9. Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
10. Experience with React.js workflows such as Flux or Redux.
11. Java experience is preferred.

All positions are located in Calgary, Alberta, with a hybrid work environment combining remote and in-office work.

Knowledge of English is required.
