Creation Technologies is a leading global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider. Our 14 business units span across four countries and many customers. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Applications Developer to join our team.


In this role you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying system requirements, and facilitating the implementation of technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity of the Operations teams. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of both Manufacturing operations and IT systems. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, develop .NET and web applications, perform unit testing, and ensure that technology solutions meet business needs effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced web applications that streamline and enhance complex operational workflows, enabling greater efficiency and productivity for manufacturing sites.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for technology solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Create user-friendly interfaces, robust back-end systems, and seamless integration with existing platforms to support real-time data processing, automation, and decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT developers, project managers, and end-users, to ensure that technology solutions are developed, tested, and deployed successfully.
  • Architect, develop, deploy, and support Creation’s Manufacturing and Operations related custom Applications.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate the adoption and effective use of technology solutions, including developing user manuals, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing assistance as needed.
  • Perform code reviews and assist in managing deployments related to technology implementations.
  • Develop test plans, perform system testing, validations, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that technology solutions meet quality standards and functional requirements.
  • Analyze data to develop and generate reports and performance metrics that track key indicators, monitor trends, and assess the effectiveness of operational processes and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing systems is a Plus.
  • A good understanding of EMS & Contract Manufacturing industry is a Plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
  • 8 + years experience as a .NET developer.
  • 8 + years of experience in SQL Server development and database management.
  • High-level team management skills.
  • Knowledge of .NET languages including C#, Visual Basic.NET, C++/CLI, J#, and JScript.NET.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Blazor, Angular or React.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, IoT or web services.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like TFS or Git.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with Power Platform is a plus but not required.
