Location: Hybrid in Ottawa(4-days in office per week)

Your new role

As a LEO SOC Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in setting up the control system for a state-of-the-art satellite constellation. You will utilize the latest software technology to develop containerized software supporting satellite operations and participate in establishing a high-assurance containerized satellite control system. This role offers the opportunity to work with new technologies, learn about satellite control systems, and collaborate within an operational team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, or Mathematics.
• Experience: Minimum of 9 years in similar roles, with proven experience in operational systems.
• Skills: Proficiency in modern operating systems, programming , and frameworks. Experience with on-prem clusters and containerized systems.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Travel: Willingness to travel internationally and provide off-hours support as part of a call-out rotation.
• Clearance: Ability to obtain a NATO secret security clearance.
