Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team in Surrey. This role is ideal for a numbers-driven professional with strong analytical skills and a tech-savvy approach. While a CPA designation is an asset, it is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze financial data to increase net income and improve overall profitability.
• Evaluate conversion rates to maximize leads and optimize business performance.
• Assess employee business processes and timesheet utilization to determine chargeable activities and identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop insights into payroll labour costs, identifying areas for cost control and efficiency gains.
• Act as a Proposals Analyst, evaluating pricing, conversion rates, and financial impact.
• Implement better business practices to enhance operational effectiveness and financial performance.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or business process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to leverage software and tools to streamline processes.
• Understanding of payroll, labour costs, and business efficiency.
