Job description

The Facilities Analyst supports technical and administrative tasks such as analyzing cutover sheets, assisting with cable locates, updating records and maps, and coordinating maintenance programs. They provide technical support, manage addressing for provisioning, document business processes, liaise with engineering teams, ensure customer experience quality, maintain fiber records, participate in safety programs, and complete administrative tasks promptly.

Specific Accountabilities
  • Participate in health and safety programs, adhering to safe work practices and completing all safety training on time.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as time reporting, expense reporting, and corporate card submissions promptly.
  • Analyze cutover sheets, assist cable splicers, and update records in Optius as required.
  • Assist with cable locates, high loads, and airline mileage information.
  • Coordinate the defective cable maintenance program and update records accordingly.
  • Complete pre-fields for sales.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Build and manage addressing in Odin/Optius for flow-through provisioning.
  • Identify and document business processes as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and other departments.
  • Contribute to improving the quality of customer experience.
  • Update and maintain fiber records.
Knowledge and Skills Required
  • At least two years of experience in telecommunications, with knowledge of cable, copper, and fiber infrastructure.
  • Project coordination and record management skills.
  • Investigative and analytical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication networks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows environment is an asset.
  • Candidates may be required to complete pre-employment tests or work simulations.
