Job Description:

Flowback operators work at oil and gas rigs, monitoring flowback equipment, maintaining safety, recording measurements, and replacing malfunctioning parts. They may also handle fluids such as oil and water.

Responsibilities:

  • Install all test equipment
  • Operate flowback equipment within safe parameters
  • Monitor controls, instruments, and record test data
  • Follow HSE manual, SOP, JSA procedures, and company policies
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding work assignments, incidents, and deficiencies
  • Participate in HSE training and safety meetings, wear PPE
  • Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping on site
  • Perform pre- and post-job equipment maintenance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to lead a shift independently
  • Work effectively in all weather conditions
  • Maintain concentration in busy environments
  • Work overtime and travel overnight as needed
  • Understand well testing and flowback theory
  • Strong computer and communication skills
