Job Title : Senior Operations Assistant

Location : G3 Thunder Bay

Job Overview :

The Senior Operations Assistant is responsible for performing duties related to grain handling throughout the Terminal which includes maintaining clean and efficient physical facilities, receiving and handling grain shipments, and providing excellent customer service. This role may oversee work directions and coach Operations Assistants on a shift.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to :

• Train, coach, and lead by example junior employees.
• Ensure physical facilities / maintenance shops are clean, efficient, and well-maintained and communicate maintenance needs as required.
• Accountable for daily maintenance expectations according to supervisor / management instructions.
• Comply with environmental standards and all industry regulatory requirements.
• Support management team in staff training.
• Operate Terminal control systems.
• Comply with requirements of G3’s Food Safety Quality Management System (FSQMS).
• Comply with all Environmental Health and Safety Programs (EHS).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Be able to work in confined spaces.
• Be able to work at heights.

Qualifications :
