The City of Thunder Bay is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide essential support services to elderly tenants in a community apartment complex. This role involves assessing needs, coordinating care, and promoting self-determination among residents. Ideal candidates will have a background in personal support work or nursing, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in elderly care. This position requires flexibility in working hours, including shifts on weekends and holidays.
POSITION SUMMARY : Under the direction of the Program Supervisor (Jasper), provides comprehensive, continuous, flexible support services on an as-needed basis for frail, elderly tenants living in a community apartment complex.
