Starting Rate of Pay: $17.35/hr CAD

Our Player's Assistant will ensure that guests at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge's Golf Course receive service that goes above and beyond. In this role, you will support the hotel by:

1. Monitoring the pace of play on the golf course
2. Helping players locate wayward golf balls
3. Repairing all ropes and stakes used for cart direction
4. Ensuring carts are kept in the proper area during play
5. Ensuring the Starter's Clocks are properly set on each of the water coolers
6. Moving elk into areas where they will not have direct encounters with golfers
7. Reporting any course problems such as course damage, leaky sprinklers, missing tee markers or any other general maintenance that might be required

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

1. 2 years experience in a managerial or supervisory position within a major golf operation required
2. Member, in good standing, of CPGA Class A required
3. Experience as a golf instructor required
4. Degree/Diploma in a related field an asset
5. Previous point of sale system experience
6. Strong knowledge of the game of golf and its principles surrounding etiquette required
