Job description

Position Summary... The People Administrator supports the HR and DC Management Teams by performing administrative tasks such as data entry, creating reports, and auditing the HRIS and Time and Attendance Systems. Assists Team Members and Management with inquiries related to hours of work, payroll, vacation, leaves, pension, and benefits. Administers internal and external recruitment and coordinates new hire orientations. A strong focus is placed on associate relations and policy and procedure compliance.

What you'll do...
  1. Administrates the Job Posting procedure by creating documents, posting, reviewing applicants to ensure they meet requirements, and preparing a package with details of qualified applicants for the Manager.
  2. Coordinates hourly ‘new hire’ associates, including interviewing, preparing employment offer letters, facilitating initial orientation, and following up on new hire paperwork including checklists. Supports clear communication and understanding of policies/practices and identifies key policies.
  3. Supports the movement of associates within the organization by ensuring all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner, entered into the HRIS, maintaining employment files, and providing headcount, length of service, and demographic reports.
  4. Works closely with the National HRIS Specialist in administering and resolving issues related to HRIS and Time and Attendance systems. Conducts audits to ensure data accuracy for payroll processing and benefits administration.
  5. Acts as the frontline contact for HR inquiries, providing responses, guidance, or referrals to appropriate resources related to payroll, benefits, pension, leaves, and policies.
  6. Supports Team Members and Management with communication and documentation of LOAs, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing of ROEs. Communicates relevant information regarding benefit premiums, impact on vacation entitlements, and notifications of return to work. Collaborates with the Return to Work Specialist.
  7. Assists in organizing and managing projects such as AES roll-out, training, and SSC-based initiatives.
