Overview

On behalf of our engineering client, we are seeking a Proposal Manager to join their hybrid work culture. The primary role is to oversee the full cycle of proposal delivery, develop and maintain a leads pipeline, and facilitate project progress. This role is crucial for business development and involves collaboration with marketing and senior leadership to grow market sectors, refine internal processes, and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and collaborate on proposals for various building science disciplines
• Facilitate proposal planning, writing, editing, and reviews
• Assist in quality control efforts
• Review RFP requirements, develop response strategies, and coordinate proposal team activities
• Develop qualifications, proposals, and presentation content in partnership with marketing
• Lead responses for government agencies (e.g., SF330)
• Own and improve the proposal process, develop reusable materials
• Establish work plans, organize proposal files, and support administrative teams
• Conduct post-submission and post-award reviews and lessons-learned activities
• Gather and organize proposal content to meet RFP criteria
• Format proposal pages, resumes, and case studies
• Maintain and update proposal content and files
• Generate ideas and assist with graphics for proposals

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Art History, Design, Business, English, Journalism, or related field
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in AE
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and attention to detail
• Understanding of AEC terminology and project delivery methods
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage priorities
• Independent work ethic, initiative, and project management skills

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
