Job description

• Work independently, with team or with other trades
• Perform duties assigned by the Journeyperson
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
• Install electrical equipment and run cables
• Ensure that work is completed in accordance with company policies and safety guidelines
• May perform other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Registered as an apprentice with provincial / territorial regulatory body.
• Minimum of year previous electrical experience, preferably on commercial / institutional work sites.
• Basic knowledge of electrical safety guidelines when working with power sources.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics preferred.
• A strong safety record and the ability to work with a variety of individuals.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Must have or be willing to obtain the following tickets : Fall Protection, WHMIS , Elevated Work Platform, Level First Aid.
• Valid Class driver's license.
• Willing to work out of town.
