Inviting applications for the role of PTP Lead – Assistant Manager – German – Remote Poland

In this role, you will lead and manage the accounts payable (AP) processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities

· Oversee the end-to-end AP process, including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor management.

· Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.

· Manage a team of AP associates, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the AP function.

· Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

· Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to achieve targets.

Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills

· Fluency in German and a strong command of English

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

· Relevant years of experience in management within the AP function, preferably end-to-end process

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards

· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Proven track record of implementing process improvements

· Experience working in the retail industry / with retail clients

· Knowledge of additional languages
