Job Duration: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Type: In person, 5 days a week

About the Role

We are seeking an eager, detail-oriented individual to prepare, verify, and input policy documentation using insurer portals and broker management systems in support of Insurance Account Managers and Account Executives.

What You’ll Do
  • Review new business submissions and policy change requests from Account Executives and Account Managers for accuracy, returning them for additional input and data entry as necessary.
  • Ensure relevant documentation is scanned and attached to client files.
  • Become fully familiar with the underwriting and binding rules of the main insurers we work with.
  • Process cancellation requests from Account Managers.
  • Order underwriting reports as required.
  • Update client files with claims opening and closing notices.
  • Assist with projects and perform other duties as required.
What You Bring
  • Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
  • Attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry on online systems.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • College diploma and/or office experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Epic software is an asset.
